Serving Penticton, B.C., Canada, and the surrounding areas since 1989, Carpetech Restoration Services (CRS), also known as Carpetech™, is one of the longest-operating and most trusted cleaning firms in the valley.
Founder, owner/operator Carsten von Dein brings over 40 years of industry experience to the table. Carsten has been deeply involved in community volunteering, and CRS contributes nearly $2,000 annually in free services to various individuals and organizations.

OUR LEGACY
Carpetech™ (formerly known as Carsten's Carpet Cleaning & Rug Repair) has been a pioneer in the local cleaning industry. We were among the first to advertise services on local Bulletin Board Services (BBS) before the World Wide Web, and one of the first to establish a web presence. Carpetech.ca proudly holds the distinction of being the first cleaning firm in the area with a ".ca" domain, entirely unique and unrelated to any similar designations. Carpetech.ca and Carpetech™ are trademarks of Carpetech Restoration Services, with AfterCare™ and Cleancare ENCAP™ as our trademarked service offerings.
We have also been at the forefront of environmentally friendly cleaning services, offering sustainable solutions long before they became mainstream in our local industry.
During the growing years, we also provided flood and fire restoration, and later offered a subsidiary service called CRS Housekeeping. After the Covid-19 pandemic however, we made the decision to cut staff and scale back services. To our knowledge, no other founder, owner/operator currently - in our industry - has been serving the Penticton area longer than Carpetech™.
